We love this place . I took my grand kids for ice cream. We all got waffle cones. The cones were stuffed with their sweet creamy ice cream. Try the Butternut crunch.. it's got Butterfinger candy bar I'm it. AMAZING!! The price was really good as well.

Having ventured out of Waterloo to Pick Wick to pick up a few items on Independence Day, I noted this cute shop. Unfortunately, given the holiday, they were closed. Fresh off Independence Day and craving homemade ice cream, a trip to Frosty Mug Creamery was finally in order. As I’m currently visiting Waterloo, this was my first time. Upon entering and filled with questions, the staff were friendly and willing to answer. Their vanilla ice cream is made in house so it was an easy decision, I opted for a scoop of vanilla ice cream atop a waffle cone, which for me was a decadent treat. On this day and at 2 pm, I learned, on occasion, it’s absolutely okay to have ice cream for breakfast. I happily enjoyed this delicious ice cream while on the way back to Waterloo and my little teacup yorkie enjoyed a few tiny finger licks as well.

We were craving ice cream after a picnic at Pickwick Landing State Park. Very nice rustic atmosphere. We like Turtle Sundaes so they custom made one for us. Great ice cream and service. They are also adding a coffee shop and plan to open in the next couple weeks.

Delicious ice cream floats!! We got Dr Pepper with ours. The style inside made us thing of an old timey ice cream shack and the service was excellent.
